Currently I'm working on what I call the "Avoyelles Project". Sadly the French language, which is unique to Avoyelles Parish, is being lost with each generation. By interviewing individuals and creating an interactive CD-ROM I hope to preserve a piece of my family's heritage.

If you are from Avoyelles, fluent in our "Cajun" French, are over 65 and wish to participate please contact me.

I've been very intrigued with fractals lately. I find it interesting that we can create, with fractal geometry, our visual impressions of nature. If only my high school math teacher would have shown us the amazing threads of our world (and maybe beyond) through mathematics. It wouldn't have seemed so useless.

Another topic that has kept me up a few nights ;) is The Golden Mean - Phi can really get your wheels turning

You can check out some of my latest fractal creations. Teachings such as Buddhism, Sufism and writings by Christian mystics comprise a large portion of my bookshelf. I think you'll see this influence in my fractals. Fractals provide a wonderful format to combine my love of art, computers and spirituality!
