Current distractions

I've been working on my gris-gris and I've posted a couple of new writings in the writing section.

Here's a painting in progress for Spring Bayou.
We've got a HUGE hydrilla problem...Spring Bayou could use a visit from the gris-gris.
I finally finished it with the Patate Fleur (which has an amazing resemblance to High John, I wonder if they are the same?)
and the L'eau de Sureau (natural healing herbs used by my grandmere).

Crocheting and knitting some pieces for winter. I love all the new yarns, they are so soft and snuggly!

Got a new book on classical guitar pieces that I'm muddling through...

Working on items for my bookstore. If you'd like to see pictures of it please visit my flickr account at

Some new jewelry can be seen on my flickr account too

I went to New Orleans and saw Joshua Bell at Tulane, I'm completely obsessed...so I've put him on my "projects" page.
I want to do a painting of him...how sad is that, you'd think I was 12?
He was so wonderful and even signed cd's and allowed photos after the concert!

I've also been really enjoying the local french conservation club. Meeting some really great people!
Didn't know there was so much diversity right here ;)
